After reviewing the x-rays the vet had said “I’m sorry, there’s nothing we can do but make her comfortable” — This really didn’t give me a gameplan of what to do and how to cope with my dog’s cancer. The book was great for providing alternatives and put me into action to get nutrients to a dog that was failing fast. She is still with us and in better shape then when we saw the vet. The book was a blessing to help work through the many challenges of the cancer diagnosis.
